About the Author
Kim Pezza grew up among orchards and dairy and beef farms having lived most of her life in the Finger Lakes region. She has raised pigs, poultry and game birds, rabbits and goats, and is experienced in growing herbs and vegetables. In her spare time, Kim also teaches workshops in a variety of areas, from art and simple computers for seniors, to making herb butter, oils, and vinegars. She continues to learn new techniques and skills and is currently looking to turn her grandparents' 1800s farm into a small, working homestead.

good book about raising pigs on small basis on friendly farm -I liked it a lot and my 12 year old daughter liked it alot. it helped us make good decision about something very new to our family for 4.H
This book is a primer, a very basic overview, not much more than a long blog post. It might be useful to help decide if you wanted to raise pigs or not, but if you decide you do want to raise them, you’ll need to buy another book with more details and information... which is what I’m having to do now.
It's okay. very general information. Nothing to detailed just very simplistic. Has some recipes etc.
